For DMX fixtures, check the exact model, channel mode, DMX addresses and interface. A matching connector or fixture-library entry alone does not guarantee compatibility. Test your actual rig before a show.
For smart lights, support depends on the model and integration. Homebridge and Home Assistant are supported paths. The Home Assistant companion on Pi/Ubuntu is currently marked experimental and supports compatible Govee LAN and Matter devices. Cloud-based integrations need internet; local integrations need the right LAN setup.
Save whole-rig lighting scenes and recall them from the dashboard or supported control surface. Explore capabilities and the current beta features. Named saved AI setups are distinct from ordinary scenes and are not yet selectable as named Elgato plugin buttons.
Review fixture count, universes, cue workflow, timing and redundancy for your installation. DMXSmartLink accepts Art-Net and sACN input and provides Art-Net output. Physical DMX connections require supported interfaces. If one physical DMX input controls multiple mapped universes, plan non-overlapping channel assignments across that fanout.
Software licenses are digital and include no hardware. Every HUB includes a 12-month software license; the product description lists the hardware included in each kit. Lights, cables and accessories are separate unless explicitly listed.
