Smart-light support depends on the model and integration. The experimental Home Assistant companion on Pi/Ubuntu can control compatible Govee LAN and Matter lights. Other devices may use Homebridge integrations; Alexa connectivity alone does not guarantee compatibility. Cloud-backed integrations require internet.
Check your fixture modes, audio sources, cue needs and control surfaces during the trial. Compatibility with a protocol does not mean every feature of another controller is reproduced.
